Gelissen develops 'Damvloer' for apartment complex

Gelissen Beton was asked by BAM to help think about a solution for the manufacture of a 'table floor' construction at the train station square in Utrecht. The floor is used as the first level floor of a new apartment complex and as the 'roof' of the bus and tram station.

Innovation Damvloer
Combining all basic principles, Gelissen Beton proposed a new floor system called the 'Damvloer'. This system uses weight-saving Cobiax hollow spheres. Gelissen Beton will soon introduce this new floor in the Beton and Staal, Concrete edition trade journal. Furthermore, more attention will be paid to this in April through an interview at the construction site.
