Resources

Resources are considered to be materials that are used in a process to manufacture something. Together with its own concrete technology centre ASCEM, BTE conducted various researches to look into the possibility of using alternative resources in the production of our concrete products. The matter of the availability of secondary resources that can guarantee high quality concrete products and that are actually sustainable has been looked into. Using more binding agent  or more unnecessary transport as a result of a secondary resource should never be the case. Examples of using alternative resources include the use of FORZ (at De Hamer) and concrete granulate, fly ash and rock dust (at a range of BTE companies).
